In 1935, Walter Schank opened Schank Printing with a used press and moveable type in the basement of his Fayette Street home in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. His son, Walt, expanded the business into linotype.

In 1960, Walt moved the company to its current location and later added offset printing presses.

Today, Schank Printing is run by Walt’s children, grandchildren and extended family using modern equipment and software.
